If you have experienced narcissistic abuse, you may understand what happened and still feel unsure of yourself. You may second-guess decisions that once felt simple, struggle to set boundaries without guilt, or wonder who you are now that so much of your energy is no longer focused on the relationship. That is the space The Watered Willow was created to support.

What is narcissistic abuse recovery coaching?

Narcissistic abuse recovery coaching is a forward-focused form of support for people rebuilding their lives after emotionally manipulative or narcissistic relationships. At The Watered Willow, the focus is not on diagnosing the other person or teaching you how to defeat a narcissist. The focus is on you: reconnecting with your feelings, needs, values and voice; rebuilding self-trust; strengthening boundaries; restoring confidence; and deciding what you want your life to look like from here.

Who is The Watered Willow for?

The Watered Willow provides online narcissistic abuse recovery coaching primarily for women who are ready to reconnect with themselves after narcissistic abuse. You may have left the relationship already, be creating distance from a difficult family relationship, or simply be realizing how much you have lost yourself while trying to keep the peace. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

How is narcissistic abuse recovery coaching different from therapy?

Life coaching and therapy serve different purposes. Coaching at The Watered Willow is not therapy, mental-health treatment, crisis intervention or diagnosis. I do not diagnose narcissistic personality disorder, treat trauma disorders, or tell you what you should do. As a Certified Life Coach, my role is to help you look at where you are now, identify what matters to you, hear your own voice more clearly and take intentional steps toward the life you want to create. If your needs are clinical or involve safety, crisis support or mental-health treatment, an appropriately licensed professional is the right resource.

What can coaching help you rebuild after narcissistic abuse?

Many women come out of narcissistic or emotionally manipulative relationships knowing they survived something difficult but not knowing how to trust themselves again. Coaching can provide a structured space to work on self-trust, boundaries, confidence, communication, identity, decision-making and the patterns you want to change going forward.

The Watered Willow approach: GROW, FLOURISH, BECOME

My coaching approach is organized around three stages: GROW, FLOURISH and BECOME. They are not rigid steps or a promise that recovery happens in a straight line. They are a way to keep the work centered on you rather than on the person who hurt you.

GROW — reconnect with yourself

GROW is about noticing your feelings, needs, values, strengths and voice again. After a relationship where your reality may have been questioned or your needs minimized, reconnecting with yourself matters.

FLOURISH — rebuild self-trust and boundaries

FLOURISH is where we strengthen the skills that help you protect and trust the person you are becoming: boundaries, communication, confidence, self-trust and healthier patterns.

BECOME — create your next chapter intentionally

BECOME is about moving beyond survival. You decide what you want your relationships, choices and life to look like now. The goal is not to become who someone else thinks you should be. It is to build a life that feels like your own.

Do I need to understand everything about narcissism before coaching?

No. Understanding patterns such as gaslighting, manipulation, intermittent reinforcement and trauma bonding can help make confusing experiences easier to name, but your recovery does not have to revolve forever around understanding the narcissist. At The Watered Willow, learning about the pattern is useful when it helps you understand yourself, trust your experience and move forward.

Can I start without committing to a coaching package?

Yes. The Watered Willow offers a free Clarity Call so we can meet, talk briefly about what brings you here and explore whether my coaching approach feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to purchase a coaching package during the call.

What makes The Watered Willow different?

The Watered Willow is built around a simple belief: recovery should eventually become less about the person who hurt you and more about the person you are reclaiming. I bring my training as a Certified Life Coach and my own lived understanding of narcissistic abuse to this work, while keeping the coaching relationship centered on your voice, your choices and your future.

You survived the relationship. Now it is time to find yourself again. You are not who they told you you were.
